Capcom's March 2026 Spotlight delivered announcements spanning nearly every pillar franchise the publisher has, including a surprise release date shift for Pragmata, final pre-launch info on Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, dual Mega Man updates, a new Street Fighter 6 character, and a full slate of Resident Evil 30th anniversary celebrations.

Pragmata Moves Up a Full Week
The broadcast's biggest curveball was Pragmata jumping forward from April 24 to April 17, giving players an extra week to dive into the sci-fi action-adventure. A new trailer showed off previously unseen locations, enemy designs, and story beats involving the rogue AI IDUS that's taken over a lunar research station. The footage also revealed the Shelter, a hub area where players can queue up the game's original soundtrack and watch companion android Diana perform dances.
The story centers on astronaut Hugh and Diana as they attempt to escape the station and make it back to Earth.
Monster Hunter Stories 3 Pre-Launch Details
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection hits Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 13. Capcom used the showcase to spotlight the Prince/Princess of Azuria and the main cast in a final pre-launch trailer.
The game includes several unlock bonuses:
- Pre-order bonus: Limited edition armor set for Eleanor, Princess of Vermeil
- Save data bonuses from four Monster Hunter games unlock matching outfits:
- Monster Hunter Stories unlocks the Hakum Rider Outfit
- Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin unlocks the Mahana Rider Outfit
- Monster Hunter Rise unlocks the Kamura Garb
- Monster Hunter Wilds unlocks the Hope Layered Armor Set
- Palico outfit: Link a Capcom ID to get a Capcom-themed outfit for Rudy, the protagonist's Palico
- Free for all players: Accessory: Golden Circlet and Wyvern's Friend Layered Armor for ranger companion Simon
Mega Man Gets Two Major Updates
Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection launches March 27 on Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The seven-game package includes visual and audio upgrades, expanded customization, and three online modes: Casual Match, Ranked Match, and Friend Match. The Brother/Friends List cap has been raised from 6 to 100. Pre-ordering nets four Music Player arrangements and two character models for the main menu.
The Mega Man Star Force anime is now streaming for free.
On the new release side, Mega Man: Dual Override revealed the six community-voted finalists from its Robot Master Design Contest, which pulled in over 10,000 submissions. The top six are Cleanser Man, Cactus Man, Sweeper Woman, Recycle Man, Juggle Man, and Valve Man. The dev team will pick the winner to round out the game's eight Robot Master boss roster.

Street Fighter 6 Brings Alex to the Arena
Street Fighter 6 adds Alex on March 17, with motion capture work done in part by pro wrestling legend Kenny Omega. His original BGM track, GO! ALEX! Hope is Born!, features anime song band JAM Project.
Alex's release comes alongside summer-themed Outfit 4 costumes for Dee Jay and Elena. The showcase also teased exclusive skins for A.K.I. and Rashid tied to Capcom Cup 12, plus new footage from the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
Resident Evil Marks 30 Years
The Resident Evil franchise's 30th anniversary is getting a year-long celebration with multiple events:
- Universal Studios Japan collaboration: A large-scale Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) themed project is planned for sometime this year, timed to USJ's own 25th anniversary
- RE2 Arcade Game: A new arcade cabinet version of Resident Evil 2 lets players control Leon and Claire with immersive hardware including air jets and floor vibration
- Symphony of Legacy World Tour: The 30th Anniversary Concert kicks off in August, with European dates in London, Paris, and Vienna confirmed and tickets available now. North American dates are still to be announced
- Resident Evil Generation Pack: A limited bundle containing Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Resident Evil Village, and Resident Evil Requiem is available now through March 31
Onimusha Returns With an Overview Trailer
Onimusha: Way of the Sword got an overview trailer showing off its Edo-era Japan setting and hack-and-slash combat. Protagonist Miyamoto uses an Oni Gauntlet to fight the demonic Genma forces occupying Kyoto. Rival Sasaki Ganryu was also spotlighted as a major story figure. Combat footage included 1-on-1 boss encounters, parrying, and the high-speed Issen counter system.
